AAT Annadhan Seva

About

Annadhan (Free Meals) Seva - 17th November to 2nd January.

Mission
We wish to introduce ourselves as a Charitable Trust duly regd. under the Charitable Trust Act, we conduct social activities in various places since 1984 namely Medical Camps, Natural Calamities Relief activities, distribution of Note Books for school children, Children Care help, Medical help for TB and Cancer Patients, Free Eye Check Camps etc.

We further state that since last 17 years we are conducting Annadhan Seva (Free Meals) during Lord Ayyappa’s Fasting Festival wherein we feed around 3000 needy persons every day.

Sri Ayyappa Swamy is known as "Lord of Annadhan".
The Annadhan is considered to be an act of Divine Dharma.
Service to humanity is service to God. Serving food to the people who are in hungry is equal to performing Ritual Yogna. Human beings can only be satisfied with food but not with gold, dress and other things, as they desire to have them more and more. But is case of food a man wholeheartedly says that the food is 'enough' for him. It is said that glory, strength and fame will be acquired in Trilokas by Annadhan.
